  1. As digital became more and more popular it also became more cost efficient compared to conventional printing. Price per sheet on Dye-Sub printing is more expensive than the more popular Ink-Jet, however it is performed in a more timely manner and with a protective layer covering the print as part of the process, the life of the image and protection of the print are above and beyond what you would have in an Ink-Jet print. With a fast development time and digital media, Dye-Sub printing is ideal for wedding and event photographers who don’t want to worry about ink cartridges running out or waiting for prints to dry. This latest update in Dye-Sub technology will close the gap of color and quality between Dye-Sub and Ink-Jet printing.
